Issue: Thank God it’s the Finals Week.
I am not going to bore you with the long list of details on why I love the finals’ week. So, I’ll just skip to the next issue. Is that okay? Are you sure? Okay, you ask for it. [It’s good that you don’t want to know or else, I’ll start boasting and talking hot air about myself.]

Issue: "Am I in the Right Page?"
Yes, you are. [Now, stop scratching your head.] I fooled around with the template a few days back and how horrible it turned out to be. The whole page went haywire for a few days but I only managed to clean up the mess today. So, I hope you like it. [You don’t? Is it too much for your taste? Tell me where it pisses you off.] The name of the template is Khaki Tuesday and it is the brainchild of Joseph Weisternberg or something Jewish like that but I am pretty sure about the name of the template. Probably things might get a little chaotic or so because I am still in the experimenting mode. Don’t you think the font is too big? Yeah, people from across the room could read the page like it’s the highway exit sign but since I usually take off my glasses [Yes I wear glasses, huge ones] whenever I am in front of the PC, my eyes feel a lot more relaxed reading it. If you feel annoyed by the gargantuan font, change the font setting of your browser temporarily first and then go to my guest book and scorn me.

Issue: What is He Up To Now?
I have just handed in my third paper assignment for my writing class last Thursday [There is still one more but the last one is like stealing a lollipop from a baby] and I felt so relieved. So relieved was I that it took me the whole weekend to shake off that pleasure off of my mind. I watched several movies like The Bridge on the River Kwai and The Untouchables and slept excessively and eat immoderately. Right now, other than trying my best to start working on my last paper assignment, I am working on another fictional essay. [Oh no! Not one of his essays again!] This one probably will be finished by the start of next week. Before this, I usually emailed my new essays to my ex-schoolmates and fellow Malaysians at the US and the U of Minnesota and then waited for anybody to say anything about it [which never happened]. Now, I just put it on this page and force you guys to read it. Isn’t that neat or what?

Issue: What is He Up To Now? [Part 2]
Since the start of last week, I have been jotting down ideas on what to say in this page or maybe work on as an essay [Oh no! Not an essay!] Will you just shut up already? So far, there are about six pages worth of new ideas in my notebook that I am considering to work on. Several tentative titles are actually more appropriate to be posted here on this page as short articles similar to the ones I did in the past (e.g. Articulating Your Emotional Smut) while several others are too long to be discussed here as a single entry. The latter ones are definitely going to be essay titles. I have not yet decided what tone to write them in. [What?] The tones of writing, do you dig me? Each time before I write a piece, I would decide on what persona should I write it as. I wrote that ‘Issue: Hey Lalat, Tell us what is the Second Base Stuff?’ using a male chauvinistic jerk persona [You were being yourself] and I wrote that ‘It is Time’ using a very sad and depressed but optimistic yet romantic loser [You were also being yourself]. This part of my writing process is always the most time-consuming but not the hardest. The hardest part is to get away from the world [My roommates] and find the most isolated place to start and continue on writing [University computer labs].

Issue: Now, it’s ‘Chronic Mass’ and ‘Chronic Mass’ only.
If you have noticed it already, [What?] then you are a really good and observant reader [What?]. I changed the title of this page from ‘Chronic Mass: the 3rd Persona’ to just ‘Chronic Mass’ [Oh, that one!] because I don’t want to confuse you with the persona concept again [What concept again?]. In writing, I tend to get too involved with the persona who is writing. It’s not healthy for me but it works well essay-wise. So let me give you a general guideline on how to use this journal. If the entry has a title, please be careful when reading it. It might be tainted with fictions.
