assalamualaikum and howdy.
I hope I am speaking to Ms Rahayu Ramli here (majoring in bio-medic engineering at John Hopkins). I forgot your email address (is it taurea@hotmail.com ?). I stumbled upon this address (rahayu@jhu.edu) via google.com from an article in a newsletter of your U. If you are not the person above, I am sorry for disturbing and please ignore this email.
In case you are wondering, my name is Lalat, from the U of M. Once, we prepared for our oversea studies and SATs the same time period at PPP (but I did not know you then).
A few months ago, you emailed me asking for my opinion on a letter-to-the-editor that you wrote about your experience as a tudung-wearing jobseeker in Suria KLCC [See attachment if you have forgotten about this] and to whom/where should it appropriately be published.
Recently, I posted that article of yours on my online webjournal [I am sorry for not seeking approval] and it got an unexpected warm acceptance from those who frequent my webjournal. One of them, had asked me if s/he could be introduced to you personally [Please read the forwarded email below].
I wish that you could email me first for your answer on this matter (there might be others who are also interested but yet to tell me about it) and for the protection of your privacy, I have not yet given the person below or anyone else your email address. If you feel uncomfortable about this, the person below would understand your decision and so would I.
I am deeply sorry for barging into your U email inbox like this, but I was not sure of your actual hotmail address. please reply (if you wish) using your hotmail account. thank you and hope to hear your reply soon.

Assalamualaikum,
Hi Lalat. This is Rahayu. Good stuff, Sherlock! Of course I remember who you are and yes, I still remember that article i wrote. Well, in fact; I remember submitting it to NST but then having my Dad say that the publicity shouldn't be welcomed at least until I most definitely had started studying overseas, and that my sponsorship had been confirmed. I was wondering if you could email me that article, as I left the original on my computer back home in Malaysia.
Anyway, I'm glad that the article got such a warm response, as it was supposed to elicit a line of thinking that most people aren't used to. Do you have space for another article? It was an editorial I wrote for the JHU Muslim Student Association in which I'm one of the editors (i.e. I get to say whatever the heck I want and get away with it). I know a lot of people who found that article as very interesting, though not all agreed with its message, so I'd like to see what people outside of John Hopkins have to say about it. If this is okay, just let me know and I'll email the new article to you.
Lastly, yes, if anyone would like to correspond with me concerning that said article, please just give them my email, and I'll work from there. However, if anyone sounds or seems shady to you, or might sound like they want to hurt me or stalk me or something; then, just don't give them my email. I'll handle these people when I'm a successful engineer one day. InsyaAllah. *grin*
Thanks a bunch. Can't wait to see your website!
