A motion picture project given birth by the cooperation of two independent young filmmakers: director Fazrul Adri Roslan and screenwriter Mohamad Mohamad-Sharin. This short film is their promising debut, an experimentation in storytelling, emotion, visual effects and digital arts. Shot entirely on location in Minneapolis, Minnesota on January 2004 using a Canon digital camera, model PowerShot A60.

A Story About Nothing is an exploration into the mind of a young man torn by the boredom and the repetition of everyday life as he endures the harsh bitter cold of Minnesota winter, alone and without a source of entertainment. Accompanied only by hunger, television and the diminishing sunlight, he struggles to overcome his despair and listlessness through a show of courage and resignation to fate.
