What's in a Name?
by YBLalat

For today's entry, I will be analyzing my own name with the help of an Internet site claiming to be an expert on this field and with your help (and my sarcasm), I will also reflect on its accuracy of report. I would like to say a whole lotta thanks to Wan Anas Fathi, my roommate and also the Prince Charming of U of M (no freshmen girls can escape him!), for forwarding me the link to the Kabalarians' Philosophy website, of which the following excerpt was taken.

The name of Faizal gives you the desire to meet and mix socially and to create congenial circumstances for everyone. However, all too often, you express yourself in a matter-of-fact or awkward way that results in your good intentions being misunderstood. If you are in sales work, you could do well because of your friendly personality, interest in people, and desire to please. You prefer situations that allow a degree of independence, but are not too demanding in work-load or responsibility. When asked, you are able to give others good advice that you would probably not follow yourself, but must guard against being too opinionated in controversial matters. While you can appear to be confident, you need the moral support and encouragement of others who give inspiration and strength. Weaknesses in health show in the senses of the head as well as in the various fluid functions of the body. [from kabalarians.com]

From the given report above:
"... Faizal ... desire[s] to meet and mix socially ..." - What load of crap. Everybody knows that Faizal is a dick.

"...[Faizal] create[s] congenial circumstances for everyone." - Hah! If inducing an awkward silence in the middle of somebody else's conversation is a "congenial" act, than how true is that statement.

"...[Faizal] express[es] [himself] in a matter-of-fact or awkward way that results in [his] good intentions being misunderstood." - This is why I don't talk to others that much (especiallly to girls). There is this severe incoherence issue between what I say, what i want to say and the way my body reacts to what I am saying.

"...[Faizal] could do well because of [his] friendly personality, interest in people, and desire to please." - Wrong, not quite accurate, and wrong. I am a very selective person with regards to friendship, I am only interested in people who are interested in me (first) and I have no desire to please anyone else but myself (wipe that smirk off, you pervert!).

"[Faizal] prefer[s] situations that allow a degree of independence, but are not too demanding in work-load or responsibility." - Yes, Faizal does hate commitments and yes, he is, in fact, a very lazy and irresponsible person.

"...[Faizal is] able to give others good advice that [he] would probably not follow [himself]..." - So, what's the big deal? Some doctors smoke cigarettes!

"While [Faizal] can appear to be confident, [he] need[s] the moral support and encouragement of others who give inspiration and strength." - Aww...Faizal is a mommy's boy.

"Weaknesses in [his] health show in the senses of the head as well as in the various fluid functions of [his] body." - Weakness in the head - this sick journal. Weakness in bodily fluids - is yet to be proven (but will soon, via a bed-breaking, roof-blowing, Daddy-calling sex).
