Hate the Internet Connection Here. Better to Waste Time on Something Else More Precious: Eating!
by YBLalat

I just could not believe it that the internet connection here is so slow. Before coming here, I thought that, "Okay, maybe it's a wee bit slow than my University dial-up in Minnesota, but since Malaysia is only 19 years shy from that Multimedia Corridor shit, and that maybe there has been a lot of progress since I left it two years ago, I think that the internet technology would be manageable still."

Hah! Hell no!

Fuck my ass. Nowadays, I only connect myself to the rest of the world very late at night when everybody else is sleeping only to check my accumulating emails, or more accurately, to skim the emails' header, and do some massive deleting of unnecessary crap emails that do not concern me and my being. I tried updating my blog once in a while but the server doesn't connect well to my computer - they disconnect each other every so often and in the process, flushed my entry down the drain. Lost forever.

I become so frustrated and angry that I vow not to bother about the internet or the emails anymore and thus, to redeem that great loss via eating and drinking anything that I won't be able to get my round and fat hands on while in the States. And by that, I mean a whole lot of exotic Malaysian food to be digested. My mom has been very cooperative in helping me fulfilling that quest. Sometimes, she would go to great length to buy stuff from the morning market or to cook them meticulous dishes.

Add to My Future Wife List: Must know how to cook, and in great variety. Doesn't matter if not good-looking or of flat breasts. Priority changed.

That's it for today. I am not taking risks to write down long and winding entries anymore while I am in Malaysia. Sorry. If I had the time, I will write all about my experiences here while I am back in the States. Meanwhile, if you are in and around my town (i.e Kuala Selangor) and/or willing to hear my real voice (and get your fantasized YBLalat profile ruined and shattered), I am available at:
