"He was awfully sober for a man who drank liquor like a seasoned camel. Walking alongside him was the arctic breeze of midnight, comforting him with the whispers of roaches and crickets. The beach looked distant from his reach but still he could taste its salty waves. Camouflaged by darkness, merchant ships that harbored near looked like towering mountains of the ocean, with joyous laughter spewing from the poorly-lit starboard. Seagulls that nested on top of the flags of skulls and bones sat silently and snored. Vomiting crewmembers of these ships occasionally popped their head inside and out of the deck, relieving their bellies of the sickening devil’s piss. The rocking of the sea and the creaking of the joints provided soothing background music that occupied the air as the night grew older by the minute. Chattering clatter and thumping noise from a nearby beggar’s shack echoed the empty road Rufus was striding on. Never had he felt this accompanied in the middle of a night."

This piece is what i am currently toiling my back working on. it is still not finished, although the word count has clocked over the line of 3000 words.
i guess i need to work on this one a lot faster, because there is another one essay clocking at the line of 5000 words and it's not even halfway through.
this one is 75% finished, considering it is actually an essay that i wrote when i was 16. this time around, i am just touching up on a few parts that lacks
the YBLalat touch. other than these two, i've got one more on hold: 'Thus all is Allah's wish (Part 1)'. this one is really, really slow in progressing its plot.
hm...now where can i post them on the 'Net, eh?
